Lemon Drop Cocktail or Shot

This is a sophisticated old school cocktail that is a crowd pleaser at a barbecue or a Sunday brunch. It can also be condensed into a shot that tastes good and will keep the party going.

For the cocktail or shot you will need a shaker filled with ice
For the cocktail a large size martini glass makes a nice presentation
Pour one ounce of your favorite Vodka (although I say the Russians have it best)
1 Ounce of Sweet and Sour (not margarita mix)
1/2 Ounce of Pineapple Juice
A splash of Seven Up
One round thin slice of lemon to decorate the glass
Fill the martini glass half way with ice
Shake the shaker until well chilled and pour into glass
Then slide the garnish onto the rim of the glass and serve.

For the shot
In a shaker filled with ice add
3/4 OZ. Vodka
1/4 Oz. Sweet and Sour
A splash of Pineapple Juice
A splash of Seven Up
Shake well then pour into the shot glass
