Gimlet Cocktail
This cocktail can be made with either gin or vodka although originally it was made with gin. You will need a rocks style glass filled with ice.
1&1/2 Oz. Gin or Vodka (the quality can be lesser because it is being mixed with a heavily flavored partner)
1 Oz. Rose's Lime Juice (Fresh Lime Juice is always better)
Serve with a wedge of lime
Cheers!

Whiskey Sour Cocktail
While I'm revisiting old school cocktails this is another that is certainly worth a try! Years ago they made sour glasses but they are much harder to find today. I suggest you use a tall narrow champagne flute. It will make a nice presentation. This is also a good party drink when your offering a specific liquor menu its a great choice and its simple to make and relatively inexpensive.
Fill your shaker half way with ice
Add 1 Shot of whiskey (nothing too high end because you're mixing it)
2 Shots Sweet and Sour mix (not margarita mix)
Shake well
Place a cherry in the bottom of the glass and pour the chilled mixture over the top
Bottoms Up!

Toilet Water the Cocktail
The color of this drink always reminded me of the blue stuff we kept in the toilet bowels to keep them fresh. The drink started out long ago with a different name but the more I made them the more it reminded me of the Tidy Bowel color hence the name change. Also it was popular with a large group of collage kids that came in to my bar one summer. The up side was if any of them got sick, it matched what was already in the bowel. So be careful these can sneak up on you. However in spite of the name this is a summery and refreshing drink that is simple in concept yet makes a nice presentation.
Tall glass filled with ice
1 Oz. vodka
1/2 Oz. Blue Curacao
Fill with Sweet and Sour
Top with a splash of Soda Water
Garnish with a thin lemon slice
Cheers!
