This drink is a delicious and refreshing summer drink. It makes a great splash at a party. So heads up buy the right tools at your local liquor mart so you can practice and do this right! I recommend that this be served in a wide glass like a bucket style or a tumbler. Many restaurants serve this in a pint style glass which are readily available at a housewares store near you.
This is a muddled cocktail, which means simply that you are mashing you first ingredients together to extract their flavor. A muddling tool is a wooden dowel of sorts rounded on the bottom yet long enough to hold comfortably in your hand.
In a glass shaker place five ice cubes
5 large Mint Leaves
3 Nice sized Lime wedges
With your muddle mash these ingredients together so that the flavor of the mint and lime can infuse the drink with their natural flavors.
Add 1 Oz. Apple Pucker
Cover and shake well
Transfer to the glass and adding more ice
Add 1 & 1/2 Oz. Bacardi Limon Rum (there are other lemon rums use your favorite)
Add a splash of Pineapple Juice
Fill the remainder of the glass with Soda Water
Garnish with a Mint Leaf and serve
Cheers!
